We can open doorways to learning opportunities on a local, national and global level. Our trust is operated in Norfolk and our founding school is in King’s Lynn. We have been set up as a primary level driven trust so our key expertise is in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Each school has its own unique personality and we work with that. Every trust school has its own community values, ethos and a unique feel. That is why as a trust we tailor our approaches to meet an individual school community. Our schools really value our approaches, support and guidance.

Howard Junior School recognised as an Apple Distinguished School!

Apple Distinguished School Ceremony (10)

Howard Junior School is pleased to announce that it has been recognised as an Apple Distinguished School for 2017–2019 for its innovative use of iPad to accelerate learning through the power of collaboration; raising aspirations and achievement for our pupils and our local community.

Apple Distinguished Schools are centres of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence that use Apple products to inspire creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. They showcase innovative uses of technology in learning, teaching, and the school environment and have documented results of academic accomplishment.

“Howard Junior School has been on a transformational journey, with technology and iPad at its heart. We are preparing our pupils for the dynamic future that awaits them when they join our future, digitally focused economy; enabling them to effectively acquire and develop the skills necessary to succeed in tomorrow’s world. Part of our success story stems from the creation of the Inspire Suite, a centre of digital innovation and excellence designed to immerse our pupils in cutting edge technology, embedded seamlessly in to their learning. The selection of Howard Junior School as an Apple Distinguished School highlights our success as an innovative and compelling learning environment that engages students and provides tangible evidence of academic accomplishment. Our bespoke STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) facility, the Spark Lab utilises Apple technology, 3D printing and robotics to create a kinaesthetic approach to computing, manifesting pupils digital work in the physical environment around them. By employing Apple technology in our everyday learning and teaching, we have inspired and motivated our learners, raising their engagement and seeing our results rise in unison.”
