Howard Junior School receives multiple Royal British Legion awards
In recent years, Howard Junior School has worked exceptionally hard to honour our country's fallen soldiers. From creating a giant poppy on the school stage each year to visiting the cenotaph with children dressed as soldiers, the school always ensures that they pay respects to our nation's past to the highest degree.
On Friday 17th September at a dinner hosted by the Royal British legion and in the presence of the Mayor, Howard Junior School showcased a video marking the work that has been done by the school. Two awards were also given to the school to mark the association between the school and the Royal British Legion.
The awards were presented by esteemed members of the Royal British Legion, including ex-servicemen and the local chairman for the organisation.
